Introduction to Java 1
This section helps you to install java ,learn the internals of java and to create your first program.
Keywords, Variables, Constants , Data Types 6
This session takes you to understand the basics of programming language like Keywords, variables, literals ,Datatypes, Naming conventions, Unicode System and much more.
Conditional Statements 5
Looping Statement 1
OOPS in java 7
This session introduces you the Object Oriented Programming concepts in Java. In Object Oriented methodology every object in real world is treated as objects in program. In order to identify these real world objects we have to first analyse the objects in real world for the system that we are dealing. For example if it is a hospital system, we can consider doctor as an object, nurse as another object and so on. Next step in this paradigm is Object Oriented Design . So by now we have all objects and their communication decided. Now we move on to Object oriented Programming. The major concepts covered here are:Object Class Inheritance Polymorphism Abstraction Encapsulation Apart from these concepts, there are some other terms which are used in Object-Oriented design: Aggregation Association Composition. Easily understood Clear structure for the program Object created in one program can be reused in other Better design with minimum flaws Improved program modularity
This session deals with java built in packages, User defined packages and static import
Nested Classes &Enumeration 4
Used to provide supplement information about a program. Annotations start with ‘@’. Annotations do not change action of a compiled program. Annotations help to associate metadata (information) to the program elements i.e. instance variables, constructors, methods, classes, etc. Annotations are not pure comments as they can change the way a program is treated by compiler.
Strings in java 6
String is an object which is a sequence of characters. The java.lang.String class is used to create a string object.Creating Strings :- by literals, new keyword
Wrapper Class 0
Exception Handling 4
This session describes the difference between Errors and exception, types of Exceptions, Exception class methods and how to handle exceptions.
Multi threading 0
Process of executing multiple tasks simultaneously. Two ways of multitasking are : 1. Multiprocessing 2. Multi threading. We deal with multi threading in detail in this session.
